Beautiful, small pond overgrown with reeds. There is a rest bench nearby. Nice place to stay.

The small neo-Gothic field chapel called St. Josefs-Kapelle was built in 1901/02 in the Watzkessel, at the confluence of Überlauterecker Straße and Talstraße, which runs to the right of the Glan. It was planned and executed by the Lautereck master mason Joseph Walter, whose company was also known for some church buildings. The chapel, built of sandstone blocks, stands on a low base. Three steps lead up to the door. The steep roof is covered with slate, the gable points to the junction with Überlauterecker Straße.
