A well-maintained beach with a sweeping view of the water. Food and drink are available at the mini-golf course or at the campsite (which also houses the Oase restaurant). The "Zierow Strand" bus stop is approximately 200 meters from the beach. A bus to Wismar departs every hour (30 minutes to the central bus station).

The church has a single nave and is made of brick. The two-bay nave is connected to the elongated rectangular choir. The nave is somewhat wider. The nave and choir are separated by a triumphal arch. There are corner pilasters on the nave and choir. The lancet windows arranged in pairs have inlaid round bars and glazed bricks for decoration. The choir and nave as well as the chapel attached to the nave and the lower tower floor have cross-ribbed vaults. The tower is almost square and has a considerable height. The similarity of the gable design on the tower to the Wismar churches is remarkable. The helmet is octagonal with four shield gables and thus forms a "bishop's hat". The gables are each different in their elaborately designed blind decoration with diamonds, rosettes and pointed arches.

The Holy Spirit Church in the Hanseatic city of Wismar belongs to the Holy Spirit Hospital, which was founded in the middle of the 13th century in the old town of Wismar. The church is located on Lübschen Straße at the corner of Neustadt. It was a hospital church in which the sick and needy were cared for and looked after. Cells were available in the adjoining nave for accommodation. Along with St. Mary's and St. Nicholas' Church, St. George's Church is one of the three monumental Gothic religious buildings in Wismar's old town. In terms of its mass and the enclosed space, St. George's Church, which was begun in 1295, is the largest of these buildings. It is also the youngest church to be built and is considered the miracle of Wismar. St. George's Church was the place of worship for the rulers and craftsmen of Wismar. The church, which was badly damaged in the Second World War and further deteriorated during the GDR era, was largely rebuilt by 2010. Wismar's cradle dates back to the time of reunification. A small harbor and farming settlement. Located near the legendary Via Regia, the former Wendish east-west road, Wismar has been a well-known, popular and frequently visited trading place for many centuries. When the first cities were founded in Mecklenburg, Wismar - first mentioned with its citizens in 1229 - was among them. A small river to the east was named after it - the “aqua wissemara”, which can no longer be traced today.

The current St. Mary's Church was built in the early 14th century. However, a church building had already been built 100 years earlier. The church was badly damaged in the last air raid in April 1945 and was demolished in 1960. Only the 80-meter-high tower remained. The entire site now serves as a memorial against war.

It is well done that you can see the dimensions of the church from earlier times. There is also a small cast model on the site that shows the former church. There are also great sculptures on site.
