One of my favorite castles in the Palatinate Forest. An incredible 360 degree view.

The Palatinate Forest is home to many such beautiful rock formations (which are around 250-270 million years old and made of red sandstone. Some of them offer fantastic panoramas. It is most beautiful here at sunrise.
