Today's hike took place on the edge of the northern Black Forest, specifically in the triangle formed by the districts of Böblingen, Calw, and Enzkreis. Overall, it was a pleasant, if slightly muddy, walk through the woods with several viewpoints between Büchelberg and Galgenberg.

A hike for the long-term project "all places in the Tübingen district" following the motto "three in one go". Wankheim, Jettenburg and Kusterdingen served as the framework for this loop with a few rustic forest passages and magnificent views of the Swabian Alb escarpment.

Since the Remstal valley hadn't been on the hiking agenda for a while, a hike in the lower Remstal was planned. Accompanied by sunshine on partly frozen, partly muddy ground, it was a wonderful hiking trip.

Searching for the break in the fog that unfortunately didn't materialize this morning, I ended up at the Neckar River near Plochingen. Despite the mostly overcast conditions, it was an interesting hike in an area I hadn't explored before. The Hundertwasser House, in particular, left a lasting impression.
