ヘルタースベルクのおすすめウォーキング＆ハイキングルート

The Heiligenberg restaurant, or more commonly known as the Naturfreundehaus Heltersberg, has reopened since May of this year after a long hiatus with a new tenant. He's very dedicated, and I think the guests appreciate it. Every now and then, there are special events with live music... The food is delicious, and when the weather is nice, you can sit comfortably outside. Great location on the edge of the forest; I always enjoy coming here.

Wonderful along the water

Rocks and cliffs up to 25 meters high stretch over 600 meters. Individual rock formations have such evocative names as Seelenturm, Seelenwand, Kanzel, Sommerwändchen or Hundsweiherwand. The winding path below is announced by a sign as a difficult section of the path. However, it certainly does not pose a challenge for experienced hikers. Here on the eastern edge of the rock path, the information board provides useful information and a group of benches is ideal for a long stop.

The shelter itself is unspectacular, but has quite generous dimensions and thus offers even a larger group protection from the weather and a place to rest.

Here, a copy of the Saltuarius/forest manager gravestone is embedded in the rock. The original was found during archaeological excavations and is kept in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer.
