At the summit of the Going-to-the-Sun Road, you will find this state-of-the-art Visitor Center. The Logan Pass Visitor Center is open daily during peak season and offers a wide range of amenities from trip planning info, exhibits, a bookstore, and ranger-led activities to the common things like parking, restrooms, water fountains, and a shuttle service.

There are also many very popular hiking trailheads starting from the visitor center.

You need to be ready for any type of weather. So if you normally wear shorts when it’s 0C/32F and snowing, go ahead. Otherwise I would recommend bear spray, long pants, a rain shell, along with a sweater or base layer in your pack. 12-24 oz water and a Clif Bar is plenty sufficient. And your camera/smart phone.
