The Treppengrund connects the Stimmersdorfer Weg with the Thorwalder Wände. Once you reach the top, look to the right into the small crevice in the rock - until the 1970s you could continue hiking here on the Thorwalder Gratweg. The path is also known as the Hintere Pechschlüchte.
