A sign of friendship between Italy and Austria.
The architecturally interesting Peace Chapel on the Zollner Alm near the border between Austria and Italy was built in the 80s. On the one hand, it is a memorial to the First World War - the front was in the immediate vicinity - and on the other hand, it is a sign of friendship between Austria and Italy.
The planning was carried out by the Italian architecture student Marina Muser, who died before completion. On August 15th, a mountain mass traditionally takes place at the Peace Chapel.
