The small village of Tüchersfeld is dominated by an imposing rock castle. The rock formations towering up here are the remains of a reef that grew up in a tropical sea during the Jurassic period. Over the course of thousands of years, the small Püttlach cut into the Franconian dolomite, creating the Umlaufberg as an island.

The small town of Tüchersfeld in the Püttlachtal is overlooked by rocks that offer good opportunities for hiking and climbing. The Judenhof, now the Franconian Switzerland Museum, is one of the most popular photo motifs in Franconian Switzerland. Tüchersfeld is located in the heart of Franconian Switzerland and houses the Franconian Switzerland Museum in the Judenhof.
