The memorial stone is located on the street Gölsdorf at the village pond in front of the church. He is dedicated to the fallen of the Battle of Dennewitz. The stone was erected in 1913. It should make it clear that other villages were affected by the battle.

Hiking
The present village church in Gölsdorf was built in the second half of the 13th century. In 1579 substantial wooden parts were renewed, the stone walls were preserved. In 1725 the tower was built, this was renewed in 1775. Renovations took place in 1848, 1888 and 1934.
