Sculptor Adolf Brütt shows in his life-size bronze sculpture "The Fisherman - Saved" on the Museumberg Flensburg two realistically reproduced people in a touching situation. A weak young woman in a light dress is carried by an elderly fisherman in weatherproof clothing. The woman's whole body hangs exhausted in the strong arms of the upright fisherman. The three-dimensionally reproduced scene is based on an accident on the Kiel Fjord that happened during the artist's vacation at the end of the 19th century. The bronze sculpture that was created was purchased by the Berlin National Gallery; second casts are in Flensburg and Möltenort.sh-kunst.de/adolf-bruett-der-fischer-gerettet
