Beautiful hiking path along the Ems. The path leads to the restaurant Weißenthalsmühle with a small campsite. The restaurant from Sept. only open on weekends.

There is a salt grotto at the Weissenthal mill, pure relaxation.

A beautiful, small, and old stone arch bridge over the Ems River. The sign posted at the bridge is worth observing.
Photography is a bit difficult, unless you're willing to take a little foot bath—that is, photograph from the water. The water level isn't very high in summer, and the current is gentle, so it's certainly possible to take some pictures from unusual angles.
