The only and last large Harz valley, which is not blocked by a dam with reservoir. Until the 1980s, there were corresponding plans, which were then discontinued. Maybe that's one of the reasons why the valley is so untouched today that it's hard to believe. From then leads a narrow asphalt road along the Sieber. If you drive from north to south, it is only downhill for many kilometers without pedaling. Pure enjoyment!
