A visit to the Oderteichs can only be recommended. It is located between Braunlage, St. Andreasberg and Claustal-Zellerfeld and is beautifully situated. In the summer you can also go swimming well. Hikers and mountain bikers can start from there beautiful and if necessary, extended tours, as parking is available.
The Oderteich is a historic dam. It was built from 1715 to 1722 by Andreasberger miners. Since 2010, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the Upper Harz Water Regiment with other buildings.
