      Training unit: 2 hours HR area 2Start training plan 2 (May 3rd - June 27th, 2021)Training goals:
      - Improve stamina
      - 85 km under 3 hours driving time
      The training plan starts this week with 4 easy units (2 hours each / HR area 2), from the next week more intensive units (sprint / ascent intervals) will be added.

      Final unit training plan 1 (from March 12th - May 1st, 2021)The aim of the final unit was to drive the planned distance under 2.5 hours, to keep the HR in the 2/3 range and to achieve the highest possible average speed.
      At the beginning I struggled against the wind again as far as Badenhausen, the slope from Aschenhütte to OHA really stretches there 😒 From Eisdorf I had mostly side winds and now and then tail winds 🙂. I saved the last grains for the "Herzberger Kamel" (old street from Scharzfeld to Herzberg) and left the pump free to choose my heart rate 😅
      Tomorrow is day of rest and on Monday I will start the next plan, there is still room for improvement 💪🦵👍

      Training session: warm-up / ascent intervals / cool-downThe aim of today's unit was to cope with the climbs quickly and to drive the rest of the distance in HF area 2/3. It worked out great, despite the road and weather conditions👍🙂. At the end I got into a short rain shower 😒

      My first driveway to the Brocken 🚴🦵💪🙂In bright sunshine, fresh temperatures and a light breeze, I started my first tour to the Brocken today. I wanted to see how far I could get and whether the training units had brought something or whether the breath wasn't enough. You can see the result 😉
      I made it to the Triangular Post without any problems, from then on the Goetheweg was still partly covered with slush / snowpamp so that I had to push my bike after all. From Brockenstrasse everything was then free.
      On the way back I took an unplanned walk along the Oderteich and carried my bike in places 👿 What went wrong with the planning?
      Tomorrow is a day of rest and on Wednesday I'm going to ride my racing bike on a flat country bike, I've seen enough mountains now 😉

      Training unit: warm-up / 2 hours HR area 2 / cool-downAs far as Badenhausen I constantly fought against the wind, from Eisdorf onwards I mostly had a tailwind. Between Lindau and Wulften I discovered that the signposted cycle path is not suitable for racing bikes, luckily it was only about 500 m of gravel road 😒

      No training session today, the aim of today's tour was to collect a lot more HM while keeping the HF as low as possible. It worked out quite well, despite the inclines I only got 1% in HR area 5 and 7% of the total time in HR area 4 👍💪🦵🙂... and I also took pictures 😉
