Beautiful circular hike in the nature reserve around the Etang de la Gruère, the largest moor lake in Switzerland on the high plateau of the Freiberge. The unique, protected moor landscape provides a habitat for numerous plants and animals, some of which are threatened with extinction. The hiking trail over springy moorland, bridges and footbridges is an experience. Of course you shouldn't pedal on the paths, that goes without saying, but a short hike by bike is definitely worth it.

Road cycling
The High Jura Plateau has numerous well-kept roads that are perfect for road, gravel and MTB. This particular section has cycling path on very well kept asphalted surface with no potholes or obstacles. The asphalted roads are so well-kept, a road cyclists paradise.
