The Lägerngrat is a rocky ridge path. Often surrounded by greenery, which could hide the abyss a little and give false security. This way definitely requires surefootedness and a head for heights. The trail is considered T3 and is not too crazy now, but it is a very interesting and varied, slightly tricky trail. The path often leads through beautiful forested terrain, but always reveals beautiful views over the Swiss plateau. This ridge trail is a worthwhile experience.

In nice weather and v.a. At the weekend you meet a lot of people. The burr path is easily passable (even if warning signs are available). When wet, caution is advised.
In good visibility you can see on both sides: on the one hand to the Alps, on the other hand to the Black Forest.
