The ruins of the castle Bechthal is the restored ruins of a spur castle about 500 meters southeast of Raitenbucher district Bechthal on a ridge above the Anlautertal in the district of Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen in Middle Franconia. From the high to late medieval fortification wall remains and the slender keep have been preserved.

The castle ruins are currently cordoned off by construction fences. But you can still see everything clearly.

The Brug Bechthal is a spur castle and was mentioned around the middle of the 12th century. Their fate is shaped by many changes of ownership, decay and ultimately destruction in the Thirty Years' War (1633) by Swedish arilli fire.

The ruin now only consists of two towers, which are however idyllically situated on the hill near Bechthal surrounded by trees.

A path leads directly to the two towers, which were secured by renovation in 1983/84.
