About 10000 years ago this dune was created. It has an area of about 9.5 ha.
The large areas of sands that were created in this region after the Ice Age caused the westerly winds to create about 30 meters of sand. The removal and re-attachment of the sand sands did not end until the 19th century with afforestation. But this dune still wanders and you can see it on the pines buried to the tree tops.Further information at:
