Reussenstein Castle Ruin

Really nice environment!
The rocks with the castle and the wonderful view, just great ;-)
Here you can also see climbers on the rocks from time to time and with a lot of luck also slackliners 🤩

The Reussenstein ruins are located at 760 meters above Neidlingen in the Swabian Alb. It is one of the most visited castles in the Alb and especially a popular destination for climbers. No wonder: your exposed location is really spectacular.

When the weather is nice, there are usually many hikers, cyclists and climbers. You can watch the climbers from the ledge.
From July to November 2012, the castle ruins had to be extensively renovated because there were strong cracks on the south wall.
The lower area of the ruin is currently closed.
