Meersburg is a city in the southwestern German state of Baden-Württemberg. It lies on the shore of Lake Constance, surrounded by vineyards. The castle museum with the former living quarters of the castle rulers and the castle dungeon is located in the medieval Meersburg Castle. The nearby New Palace features Baroque architecture and frescoes. Above the town, in the so-called Fürstenhäusle, there is a museum in honor of the writer Annette von Droste-Hülshoff with personal documents and objects
