The Windischehöhe is 1110 meters high and connects the Gailtal with the Drautal. At the top there are 2-3 restaurants where you can strengthen yourself and enjoy the view of the Gailtal and the Carnic Alps. There is drinking water in a small well. Coming from the Gailtal, the ascent is short and steep, from the Drautal you can still climb up to Kreuzen.

Road cycling

A nice mountain road where you can also branch off to the eastern shore of Lake Weissensee. As I was there the road was just closed and therefore little traffic, mostly goes through the forest, so it is quite pleasant to drive in the summer heat
