Best Hikes to Neichener Drees (Mineral Spring)

Tips

  • Well with drinking water with natural CO2 and iron content. There are even drinking cups available.

  • Whether that has to be with the drinking cups.. Well.
You should definitely try the water from the spring, even if it only serves to "have a say". It's really a matter of taste...

  • The taste of the Neichener Drees or Schulldrees reminds me strongly of the Bad Kissinger Rakoczy water, which I have never tasted before - strong, mineral - strange smell. The iron dissolved in the spring water precipitates immediately in the air as a rust-red color (this is also rust!) and colors the entire moat a marshy brown-red. You CAN drink - but you don't have to.
