Road cycling
The valley stretches almost endlessly. From the Kartitscher saddle down to Kötschach, another 400 meters of altitude difference have to be made, some of which are quite steep ascents. So it's only tending to go downhill... Where it goes downhill, the asphalt is so bad that you're constantly stuck on the brakes and have to be extremely careful and slalom in order not to drive into any holes or longitudinal cracks.
The driving fun is very limited.
Due to the miserable asphalt only recommended upwards.
