The Volaia refuge (1,960 m) is located on the shores of the lake of the same name, in Austrian territory, in the heart of the Carnic Alps. It is surrounded by mighty peaks, such as the Coglians (the highest mountain in Friuli Venezia Giulia), the Seewarte and the Capolago. Completely renovated in the summer of 2012, it has welcoming wooden rooms and a fantastic panoramic room.
