Hiking Highlight
The almost inaccessible lower waterfall is located in a short steep gorge, in which the small brook Nabe has cut into the trough wall of the uppermost Kellwassertal. The name applies above all to the upper part, a cataract stretch in the course of supply lines to the dam ditch. It is therefore part of the Upper Harz water shelf.

The Dammgraben is one of my favorite companions when I'm out and about in the Harz Mountains.

The water ditch system of the Upper Harz water management is impressive in itself. Optical eye-catchers are then the steep stretches, almost waterfalls, that feed their water.
