The shell including the 42 meter high spire with a cross was already in place in mid-November. The interior work began in the spring of 1937 and the four bells arrived in June. The church was consecrated on September 5, 1937. Unfortunately, the first bells had to be given in 1942 for war purposes. The war also delayed the completion of the church due to either financial difficulties or delivery delays in the carving work.
