On this route, a vertical meters are overcome but it is a narrow path between heath and wild blueberries! Shortly before the dome is a bank that invites you to stay! You can let your eyes wander towards Oberhof. At the top it gets steep again, but once you have overcome this, you almost fall directly onto the summit of the Schneekopf! Personally, I prefer to go from top to bottom in such steep sections!
