The campground also serves as a pasture out of season. Can be tented then below the upper hut. However, the space is very limited. Many camp anyway in the closed area.

This refuge is hidden in a flat area in the middle of the mountains. It's a good place to stop with horses, but they are free on the paths, while humans have to camp in the enclosure! It is not the most beautiful refuge of the GR20, is must be unlivable in high season.

The hut keeper is probably the best cook on the whole GR20 - if there is anywhere to eat, it is here!
