The best-known route to the Schlernhaus leads over the so-called tourist trail. It is called that because it was built by the Bolzano section of the Austrian Tourist Club towards the end of the 19th century. Luckily it is well attended but not overcrowded.
Via the grassy eastern slope of the Schlern you reach the Schlernhaus at an altitude of 2,457 m. And since you always need a little break on the way up, you can always enjoy great views over the entire Seiser Alm.
