As always, a nice tour with magnificent views. At the beginning it is a leisurely path along a supply road but then up a crisp 240m altitude path. From the Schrempf Alm it is a little more relaxed and always a beautiful view. One can be overwhelmed on the summit plateau. You can see the Hochkönig massif, Leoganger Steinberge, Kitz, Wiesbachhorn, Glockner, Sonnblick and and ...!
You can of course extend the tour a little and go over to Hochegg for a short time. There you have a wonderful view of the Hochkönig and Mandl walls.

Of course I only went from A to A because I forgot to finish the tour. Of course I didn't go all the way to the motorway slip road😁

A tour that offers beautiful views from the beginning to the end. Everyone can do the whole loop from the parking lot to the hut. However, you should note that it is a good 820 HM and that you are exposed to the sun in the upper part. Get out early enough in summer. The view is sensational and the hut is in very good condition. Staff very friendly.

A hike with a special flair at this time of the year. At the beginning it goes straight through the forest where in between you can look over and over again at the mighty Dachstein massif and the Gosaukamm. This is the most beautiful sight during the whole tour. After a good one and a half hours you come to the junction towards Gerzkopf, which you should definitely not miss. Ringing the bell once is a must. This bell sound used to be a guide for the sheep when they were herded together. After a short stay, we went back to the shepherd's hut, which was already closed. But you can eat your own snack on the tables. But please don't leave the rubbish behind. We continue over the Gsengplatte and then back on a beautiful forest path towards Neubau.

A nice round although the descent is not that easy. Due to a braking problem, we had to cancel the lap that was supposed to go on to the Wiestal reservoir and back to Glasenbach via Koppel. So it went back and on the bike path to the city center. Finally, a detour to the Stieglbräu on white sausage with pretzel and beer. Strengthened, we drove back via Hellbrunner Allee.

An ideal excursion for this time of year. You don't get too high and you have a beautiful mountain panorama. The bike paths are all very good and there is little contact with road traffic. Of course, Berchtesgaden is always worth a stop, like Großgmain and Bad Reichenhall. There are plenty of places to stop for a break. E.g. the Gasthof Dreisselberg shortly before Großgmain or the Latschenwirt a few KM after Großgnain.

A nice tour with fantastic places. Starting with the boat trip to the Echowand and on to the Church of St.Bartholomä. From there a detour to the ice chapel (please do not go in, if something comes down, that's it) which takes about 2 hours there and back. Continue by boat to Selat, where you continue on foot to the Obersee. This is where the real beauty begins. You don't believe it but here it is indescribable even on days when it is not so beautiful. The climb on the Obersee is accessible to all hikers when it is dry.
If you want to see everything and also want to stop by, you should start with one of the first boats, otherwise it will be stressful.
When the weather is nice, there is a lot going on everywhere. Large and somewhat overpriced offer in St. Bartholomä and lots of people. The Fischunkelalm is probably one of the most beautiful places in the wide area. Offer is not large, but the view makes up for it.

A tour into the high mountains in stormy foehn weather. From the Lenzanger car park, we took the forest road towards the Naturfreundehaus, where we turned to the Ammererhof. From now on it was the well-signposted route directly to the Niedersachsenhaus. Every hiker can walk up to the last kilometer, but for the last part you should be free from giddiness and sure-footed. The more difficult places are insured with rope.
Tip: If the weather is right and you are ready to walk an hour longer, the way back over the Bockhartscharte would be the most beautiful way.
Einkehr: Of course the Niedersachsenhaus which still had a lot to offer on the last day. The view from the terrace is sensational anyway. But there are also other alpine pastures where you can stop, with a small change on the way back.

A beautiful but also exhausting tour where I am not sure whether the ascent or the descent is more difficult. From the saddle it is actually quick and easy to get to the summit at 2479m. On the descent you pass Le de Fojedöra. Must look very good in fair weather. From there it goes on a good hiking trail to the Lapedurscharte and then back to the starting point. From the saddle there is an easily accessible path down until you come to a junction. Now it's back across the slopes to the Furker Pass. At the next fork in the road I would go to the left because on the right path you come across some ditches that are not so easy. Surefootedness and a head for heights would be an advantage here. If you don't have a problem with that, you don't have to go the same way twice. Altitude information is not quite correct because according to my Suunto watch it is 900 up and 897 down.
