3 peaks Grosser Sternen - Tisch - Forstberg:

Highly recommended hike, with a great view of the Uri and Glarus Alps. The tightrope walk is totally worth it and is really fun for easy climbers!

At the Big Star there are some cool craggy spots over rocks that are secured with wire ropes. A varied, blue / white marked mountain hiking trail leads further from the Grosse Sternen to the Forstberg.

The view on the ascent is beautiful and at the top you have a phenomenal 360 ° panorama.

The path from the Forstberg to the Druesberghütte leads partly over scree-like, but grippy ground and beautiful mountain paths.

The last stretch down into the valley brings some more surprises. Over a ladder and a small bridge, which guide you safely over the rugged cliffs, you descend steeply to the parking lot.

    Information on the route:

Alpine hiking trails marked blue-white-blue. Leads partly over scree slopes and through rock with short climbing sections; partly pathless. There are chains to hold on to, but no safety ropes. On the SAC hiking scale, this is a T5 for me and is defined as follows.

    Path / Terrain:

Often pathless. Individual easy climbing spots. Exposed, challenging terrain, steep crags. Apere glaciers and firn fields with a risk of slipping. If marked: white-blue-white.

    Requirements:

Mountain boots. Reliable assessment of the terrain and very good orientation skills. Good alpine experience in high alpine terrain. Elementary knowledge in handling ice ax and rope.

I like cracked spots and there are a few of them here 👍😄. And otherwise this blue / white marked path is very varied and with a wonderfully beautiful view ... highly recommended! It leads over beautiful narrow and also wider meadow paths, rocky scramble areas and scree sections.

These paths should better be used in dry conditions, as is usually the case with blue / white marked paths. Otherwise the rocky or narrow passages in particular can quickly become tricky and slippery.

When dry, the paths are super great, varied and with a brilliantly beautiful view and highly recommended!

The Forstberg offers sensational good views of the Glarus and Urner Alps.
