The sculpture park is really one of the few highlights on the way. It is open until 5 p.m. and entry costs € 4, there are also toilets. CAUTION! Because there are no signs to be seen, you run the risk of shortening the tour by 4km. Do not go through the driveway, but continue straight ahead at the main entrance. Otherwise you will miss a nice section of the route.

Hiking

A little confusing, because there is usually an entrance fee to visit the sculpture park. However, the marked Rothaarsteig-Spur Sorper Panoramapfad hiking trail runs directly through the grounds and access is expressly permitted. Nevertheless, the artist would certainly be happy to receive a visit to his workshop (and shop) and a donation of the entrance fee. In my case, the workshop was closed anyway.

The outdoor area resembles a state garden show with ingenious metal artworks and a beautiful garden concept. Definitely a worthwhile visit and a rarely advertised attraction in the Sorpetal.
