The beautiful beach at Gjellerodde is quiet and child-friendly. The water is clean and the Blue Flag flies over the beach. The bay is ideal for surfing and sailing. The nearest North Sea beach is Vejlby Klit Strand - a very good sandy beach with dunes and many sheltered hollows. However, there are also rocky sections in between.
