The Cospudener See is a dreamlike lake that invites you to linger. There is a completely paved bike path around the lake, on which you can even have a good time with a racing bike! In summer, the path is really full, as thousands of bathers populate the lake. An absolute tip in every season!

The Cospudener See is the most popular lake in the south of Leipzig and therefore often overcrowded in summer. If you would rather have a bit more peace, I recommend to drive a bit to the south on the west side of the lake. There, the shore is a bit more natural, but still very nice for swimming.

In sunny weather and on weekends, the trail is now very crowded. If you want to do a lap, you have to drive slalom ;-)
