Very beautiful and spectacular section on the southern Black Forest cycle path.

Rustic, beautiful valley, hardly any traffic, since dead end for trucks/cars.

The Zastlertal is recommended because of its originality and natural character. The incline is moderate up to the Mederlehof. From there it gets crisp. Shortly after the small parking lot, in the first serpentine, you will find the Zastler ice holes, where, as the name suggests, it is often refreshingly cool even in summer. Here a (also recommended) hiking trail branches off to the Zastlerhütte. A little further, in the next curve, the unpaved Hinterwaldweg branches off, which you can do well with touring bikes or MTBs (great route). Otherwise, continue up the road and get down to business in terms of incline! On the Rinken at 1200 m above sea level. M., you may meet again, because here at the pass (the continuation of the Hinterwaldweg), the beautiful Dr.Ganter-Weg and the road come together. You can continue up to the Feldberg, down to the Feldsee or to Hinterzarten.
