The Zelená hora (German: Grünberg, formerly also St. Anna Mountain or Annenberg, 637 m n.m.) is a hill on the eastern edge of the coal forest near Cheb (Cheb) in the Czech Republic. The mountain became famous because of the pilgrimage church of St. Anna, which stood on a side summit (592 m above sea level) about 900 m east of the main summit. Although the wooded Grünberg summit with a sea level of 638 meters is relatively low, it is strategically located 237 meters above the water level of the Egerstausee. Three and a half kilometers further to the west is a barely considered tri-border region between the Franks (Six Offices), Upper Palatinate (Stiftsland) and Bohemia (Egerland). On the Grünberg is the Bismarckturm of Eger and a TV tower.
