The diverse Gieselau valley is located in the south-east of Albersdorf.
In addition to the traces of the Stone Age and archeology, Albersdorf is also a wonderful place to experience nature. The Gieselau valley in particular offers an excursion into the diverse flora and fauna of the Dithmarschen region. In addition to a signposted hiking trail, various paths lead along the stream, ponds and small lakes through the forest area.
