Tips
The Werratal cycle path is now one of the most popular long-distance cycle paths in Germany. You cycle for around 300 km from the Werra springs on the Rennsteig through half-timbered villages and beautiful landscapes past stately palaces and proud castles and enjoy a lot of culture.
The cycle path is very well developed, mostly paved and occasionally leads over side roads with little traffic.
