The Bentlage Monastery is located on the banks of the Ems, north of the city of Rheine. Founded in 1437, the monastery was transformed into a noble residence in 1803 and is now owned by the city of Rheine. Today the monastery serves cultural purposes. It houses a museum that documents art and cultural history. It is surrounded by greenery and is a popular destination. Cyclists will find a quiet and pretty hostel in the guest rooms as well as culture lovers, hikers or conference guests.

Nicely remote, ADFC “bed and bike” certified accommodation. You can hardly sleep more calmly. :)
My room was very simple, the bathroom was very large and everything was super. The breakfast in the main building of the old walls was also convincing. Therefore, it is a clear recommendation as an accommodation for cycling travelers. ;)

The monastery itself has a registry office room, which is also used for various evening events. There are also changing art exhibitions in the monastery and there is the "High Tea Café", a nice café where you can stop off nicely. Outside is also a charging station for the pedelec driver.
