Nestled in the rolling hills of Thuringia, Creuzburg lies like a peaceful jewel in a picturesque valley, with the proud Creuzburg Castle towering above it.

Former monastery, which was expanded to the castle.
Well preserved curtain wall, residential tower and gates.
Today, there are a museum and a hotel with a restaurant in the walls.
Up there with a bike can be difficult - do you have an engine? ;) - but it's worth it!
