One of the city's most famous landmarks
With its approximately five-meter-high Mercedes star, the Stuttgart station tower is one of the city's most famous landmarks.
It survived World War II relatively undamaged. – Today, the tower houses an exhibition on the Stuttgart-Ulm railway project and Stuttgart 21 on four floors.
The viewing platform at a height of 56 meters offers a wonderful view over Stuttgart's city center. And over the huge construction pit. – The elevator does not go all the way to the top: the viewing platform can only be reached by a spiral staircase.
