One of the most important springs in Bad Gastein is the Elisabeth spring, which is located below the Straubinger Hotel, where the spring park was built. It is the most productive, pumping 2,518 m3 of water every day. Its output also directly feeds the thermal water pipeline to Bad Hofgastein. One million liters are transferred from here to the neighboring town every day.
