The Hirrlinger Schloss is relatively centrally located in the middle of the village. It dates from the middle of the 16th century and is therefore over 450 years old. Nowadays the local government and a couple of medical practices are housed in the building. A short stop to take a closer look at the magnificent building is definitely worth it.

Hirrling Castle was built from 1557 to 1558 by Baron Georg VII von Ow (1517-1575) based on the example of Bühl Castle in the Renaissance style.
The castle building is three-storey on a rectangular floor plan and has a high pitched roof and two round towers at the corners of the north side. The municipal administration, a doctor and an alternative practitioner are housed in the building. Of the earlier moats that led around the castle area, only the castle pond in the center of the village has survived.
