The impressive Brandis Castle consists of two wings separated by a courtyard. The oldest part of the complex is the square tower, which was built in the 13th century. The castle used to be separated from the rest of the city by ditches and a ring wall, and remains of the wall are still visible today.
Since 1968, Schloss Brandis has been home to an upscale restaurant with sumptuous interiors that can be hired for celebrations.September 4, 2019
