Franconian Dune Trail: Röthenbach – Wetzendorf section along the Pegnitz

This is also a mega trail - just like almost the entire dune path!
Scenic highlight after scenic highlight, always a feast for the eyes! Sometimes challenging to ride. Always uphill and downhill, lots of roots, sandy passages, lots of small curves - simply top class!

This is the section from Röthenbach Wetzendorf, the Franconian Dune Trail is a real treat, as it runs directly along the Pegnitz and is technically fun in some places. There are also some great pictures to look at.
Following the Franconian Dune Trail is always worthwhile. Various sections or the whole trail are ideal for great MTB tours.

Very varied terrain and for the connection Röthenbach - run pleasantly far away from all roads.
