No matter which direction you come from. The Sesvennahütte is the release from hunger and thirst and for strained muscles;)

The hut is also very popular with locals. Hikers and, above all, numerous mountain bikers spend the night here every day on Transalp and other stage tours. Except when the weather is really bad, the Sesvennahütte is always well attended. The hut owners Michaela and Markus and their team manage the rush perfectly and nobody has to judge long.

You should definitely make a reservation if you want to stay overnight.

You can find information about opening times and reservations at the AVS (Alpine Association South Tyrol) refuge here: sesvenna.com

Very good overnight accommodation at the MTB-Alpencross directly after the Uina gorge. View of the Ortler chain. Directly on the Pforzheimer lake the ruin of the Pforzheimer hut.

The rescue after the steep climb for the thirsty throat and the hungry stomach. 🍺🍻🥘

There are also accommodations (are in great demand, book on time).

The food is very good. 😊 You have to be up early, otherwise it's too crowded.

extremely steep and rough driveway to the waterfall, 27-30% pushing is the order of the day, but you will be rewarded with a wonderful view of König Ortler. Continuing to the Uina Gorge was not possible because of snow.

We have stayed at the Sesvenna Hut several times, it has always been great!!! The previous owner (Pobitzer) was really a great guy. I felt at home here, beautiful wheat evenings on the hut terrace and all was right with the world. The landscape is awesome in this region anyway.
