Best Mountain Bike Rides to Icknield Way Trail

Tips

  • At 177km the Icknield way is an amazing long distance route that stretches from Norfolk to Wiltshire. The ancient trackway itself is claimed to be ‘the oldest road in Britain’ and is said to have existed before the Romans occupied the country.

  • This segment is mainly "twin track" on a chalk base. Lovely in dry and makes a great gravel bike segment
