Interesting insights into the ecological building materials tufa.
This is well insulating and was mined until the last century on the Swabian Alb.
Even today you can still see many houses from this very good building material on the Alb. With the Tuffsteinsäge sawed cubes were sawn. The water for cooling came directly from the Lauter.
