Indeed, this is a particularly beautiful spot on the Dotmund-Ems Canal. Here the so-called old voyage flows into the canal, which has been widened for larger cargo ships. I recommend cycling between Amelsbueren and Münster on the northern bank of the canal. In my opinion, the landscape is more beautiful, more varied, has fewer cyclists and joggers and leads along the old drive, which is only reserved for water sports enthusiasts and anglers.
